The Equality Ombudsperson at the Faculty of Law and Administration is Ph.D. D.Sc. Assoc. Prof. Magdalena Słok-Wódkowska.

The Faculty Equality Officer (Ombudsperson) is the first point of contact for any questions, concerns, or issues related to equal treatment.

Legal basis for the Officer’s role:

Ordinance No. 21 of the Rector of the University of Warsaw of 28 February 2024 on the policy for counteracting unequal treatment, discrimination, mobbing, and other undesirable behaviors at the University of Warsaw.

 Responsibilities of the Equality Officer include:

  • Providing consultations and support in preventing and responding to cases of discrimination and undesirable behavior at the Faculty.
  • Sharing information on the principles, procedures, and measures aimed at preventing unequal treatment, discrimination (including harassment), mobbing, and other undesirable behaviors at the University.
  • Collecting and disseminating information on best practices in counteracting undesirable behaviors, as well as on events and training related to equality and inclusiveness.
  • Cooperating with the Faculty community to create a safe and welcoming environment for work and study.
  • Collaborating with equality structures across the University, including the University Ombudsperson (Rzeczniczka Akademicka).
